Malvern Instruments has launched a new e-Learning course for users of its Mastersizer 2000 laser diffraction-based particle-size analyzer, a system used in many applications from bulk powders to pharmaceuticals actives.
The course covers theoretical and practical aspects of laser diffraction analysis and is ideal for those charged with method development and/or system maintenance, and who already have some familiarity with the technique.
Available through Malvern’s on-line shop (www.malvernstore.com) the course is delivered as nine 15-20-min presentations, covering essential topics such as the principles of the technique, data interpretation, routine maintenance of the instrument, and method development. Each section is presented in a straightforward, easy-to-understand way and concludes with a set of exam questions that test understanding and lead to certification.
