Sliding Door Dry Product Storage Bin

This sliding valve dry product bin storage system was designed for a major producer of snack crackers and cookies. The manufacturing process for this particular product requires large amounts of the dough to be stamped and baked. What follows is a need to strategically store baked snack crackers for a short time in order to continually feed the packaging lines without product breakage.

•    The bin is filled through a top opening so it is much easier to fill than a bag. •    The whole weight of the product is borne by the bin. With bag storage, the product rests on itself, increasing the likelihood of damage and breakage. The bins -- as large as 7 ft high -- bear that weight, can be stacked, and protect the product better than bag storage.  
•    The storage bins are reusable and easy to clean, eliminating cross contamination. Bags generally offer only one-time use and must be disposed of. With this type of storage bin, there is no waste.
