Mechanical Silo Discharger

The DDS 400 silo discharger incorporates a vertical spindle fitted with flexible blades that rotates within the silo cone bottom to prevent bulk powders from bridging and clogging. The unit is most commonly used to handle hydrated lime, soda ash, and activated carbon (PAC), but can also be applied to a wide variety of bulk dry chemicals. Typical applications include water and wastewater treatment, air pollution control, and the cement and mining industries.
