Stedman Unveils Vertical Roller Mill Air-Swept Fine Grinding System

Stedman Machine Co. offers the new Vertical Roller Mill (VRM), an air-swept fine grinding system. This fine grinder has improved particle size distribution when compared to a traditional ball mill or old-style vertical roller mill. Consistent wear and long-life grinding zone components allow the VRM fine grinder to deliver consistent results, crucial to maximizing efficiency and profitability of end products. The air-swept fine grinding system has been designed to economically grind a variety of materials including: MSHA rock dust, activated carbon, calcium carbonate, coal, lime, activated carbon and pet coke. Four sizes are available from 10 to 150 hp.
