The pulverization of the difficult-to-pulverize PP copolymer is possible without the addition of nitrogen as a cooling agent. The Pallmann PKMM PolyGrinder pulverizing system accomplishes this task under ambient temperature. A more economical pulverization and the protection of important resources are the result. The quality requirements of the powder so-produced with regards to particle size distribution, flowability, and bulk density are completely met.

Only the production of a high-quality powder allows for a defined distribution in rotational molds. In close cooperation with its customers, Pallmann optimized a process to prepare this difficult-to-pulverize material, without the addition of liquid nitrogen. Pulverization is performed under ambient temperature. The pulverizing system achieves a high and continuous throughput rate. Similar results are also achieved when pulverizing materials such as PS, PMMA, PC, and polyester.
