Powerful Crusher Has New Dual-Shaft Intermeshing Cutter Design

The Delumper DC1600 Series can reduce a wide variety of solids with its dual-shaft intermeshing cutter design. The Delumper can handle dry, wet, or sticky solids with a once-through, non-clog crushing action. The DC1600 effectively breaks down clumps, clusters, solids, and chunks to basic grain size. This unit employs cutters and spacers on two parallel shafts that intermesh with each another. It is available with a choice of cutters with varying thicknesses and profiles. Multiple cutting teeth on each disk process high volumes of solids with durability and low wear. The DC1600 cutter chamber dimensions measure 14.75 in. wide by up to 50 in. long. These units have a low profile, measuring only 10 in. from the inlet to discharge (without a hopper). The DC1600 is provided with wide flanges for easy connection to bins, hoppers. or conveyors.
