Several alternatives are available when industrial processes require size reduction, crushing, and de-agglomeration. Rotary knife-cutters provide fast uniform cutting of most materials ranging from soft industrial and agricultural products (plastics, wood chips, nuts) to materials as hard as lead chips and solid surface resins such as Corian. Lump breakers are designed to reduce softer and abrasive products such as filter cakes, food stuffs, chemicals, fertilizers, and fly ash into sizes that can be further processed.
