Stainless Steel Sifters for Additive Manufacturing
Hi-Sifter line of machinery is exclusively offered in the U.S. by Elcan.

Elcan Industries has incorporated a new line of Hi-Sifter machinery that has proven to be ideal for the additive manufacturing industry. Numerous companies have successfully tested products for additive applications at the company’s facility. Elcan has had success running trials on titanium powders and other metal alloys that are used in the 3D printing process. Elcan has had success screening titanium powder below 45 microns and has the capabilities to screen down even more.

Manufactured by Stechno Co., the new Hi-Sifter line of machinery is exclusively offered in the U.S. by Elcan. The entire body of the machines are stainless steel and allows for zero contamination. The machinery was designed for the pharmaceutical and food industries. The high volume of energy being transferred to the screen allows for hard-to-screen metal alloys to flow seamlessly through the screen. The machines have a strong vertical vibration that allows for high efficiency and throughput without any blinding. The removal of any potential for contamination within the machines and explosion proofing abilities, along with their high energy, make the machines a precise fit for companies looking to add screening machinery to their additive manufacturing plants.
