MPE Names Terry Woolford as Business Development Manager

Material Process Equipment (MPE) Inc., a worldwide systems integrator that specializes in magnetic separation, metal and X-ray detection, and material handling, has appointed Terry Woolford as business development manager. Woolford will be responsible for driving sales of the company’s electrical inspection systems including its Cassel metal detectors and X-ray equipment, and checkweighers.

Woolford brings extensive managerial experience spanning more than 20 years in the metal detection and X-ray inspection industries. He has a proven track record of developing multichannel strategic marketing plans, increasing market share, and driving revenue. In his new role, Woolford will be responsible for increasing sales, developing market strategy, and fostering strategic “best-in- class” partnerships and customer relationships for all MPE electronic inspection products and services.  

“Terry’s extensive industry knowledge compliments our established relationships with our customer base and will play a fundamental role in driving our growth as well as providing vision, direction and strong leadership in sales,” said Keith Rhodes, president, MPE. “We look forward to building on and energizing our existing client base by further promoting the most reliable, sensitive and easy-to-use metal detectors in the world.”

Most recently, Woolford was general manager and vice president of sales for Eagle Product Inspection in Tampa, FL, a global manufacturer of inspection equipment, where he was responsible for all sales and strategic marketing initiatives.
