Flat-Deck Screeners
Kemutec Group Inc. is now the exclusive distributor of the GKM Siebtechnik range of flat-deck screeners for the North American market. GKM Siebtechnik of Waibstadt, Germany supplies a range of standard and custom-designed sieving solution equipment, including tumbler multi-deck screeners and vibrating multi-deck screeners. The screeners are used in the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical markets, as well as the rubber, plastics, and minerals markets. Kemutec will also be adding GKM test equipment to its range so the company can conduct proving trials on the flat-deck screeners as well as the range of Kek centrifugal sifters in its test center. High-Volume Twin-Screw Feeder
The BEST Model TSF twin-screw feeder is designed for precise batching and weighing applications. The feeder’s dual-helix design combines fast, high-volume filling with accurate dribble flow at the end of the cycle. Its compact design is ideal when limited space prohibits multiple individual screw units. Two helixes — 1½ and 4 in. in diameter — are mounted on an 18x22-in. hopper. They are rated at 17 and 283 cu ft/hr, respectively, at maximum RPM with 100%-efficient conveyable product and no slippage. The TSF is ideal for batching to weigh-hoppers, low loss-in-weight scale-monitored flow, low loss-of-weight batch applications with scales, drum and pail packout lines, and recipe-type batching by multiple computer-controlled units. Many options are available. Metso Minerals Industries Inc., Brunswick, OH 800-827-9237 www.bestvibes.com

Guided Wave Radar Transmitter
The Series GWB guided wave radar transmitter for solids is a level transmitter providing an analog and switching output (4 to 20 mA as well as a NC SPST switch output) to provide continuous level indication of powders and bulk material. The sensor can output level indication as a continuous measurement reading through its analog output, or it can alter that information into freely adjustable switching output signals. State-of-the-art Time Domain Reflectometry technology in this transmitter allows for high accuracy and stability, as well as suppression of disturbance signals, allowing the GWB to measure precisely even when operating close to interfering structures. This series is available with either a rigid or flexible probe, depending on the application installation required, as well as the custom probe length. One of the GWB characteristics is virtually no installation restrictions making it ideal for small tanks, tall and narrow nozzles, and various other types of processing and storage applications. Weigh Feeder Control Module
Easy to install and simple to set up, the HI 1769-FC weigh feeder control module mounts directly into an Allen-Bradley MicroLogix 1500 or CompactLogix chassis and supports Add-on Profile (AOP) set-up, making installation and programming in a “snap and a click”. Used in new feeder control applications, retrofitting inaccurate volumetric feeders, and replacing outdated controllers in gravimetric systems, the single-scale HI 1769-FC is a powerful building block that works with the PLC rack I/O to control many devices such as augers, vibratory and belt-based feeders, as well as proprietary feeder designs. This rate controller features true five-point automatic rate calibration, automatic feeder refill, and various alarms including rate tolerance and disturbance utilizing the PLC’s rack I/O. The HI 1769-FC also includes Hardy’s core technologies of Waversaver to eliminate the effects of surrounding vibration for fast, stable weight display, Integrated Technician (IT) for system diagnostics and troubleshooting, and C2 electronic calibration without test weights when used with Advantage load cells. Plastic Flexible Ducting
The DNT Series M-FLEX 600 pipe and duct connection material utilizes a new style PTFE that is capable of continuous operation to 600°F while remaining strong. It can be used in wet or dry applications while maintaining a zero porosity rating. The product features extreme flexibility, 6 to 1 compression ratio, and demonstrates excellent non-flammability properties. Multifab Inc., Sharon Hill, PA 800-833-7585 www.multifabinc.com
