Bunting Magnetics Appoints CFO

Bunting Magnetics Co., a leader in magnet and magnetic equipment design, manufacturing and distribution, announces the appointment of Steven Peiffer as the company’s chief financial officer.

Peiffer brings more than 10 years of experience, including an extensive background in accounting, finance, analysis, and acquisitions.

Peiffer will oversee financial reporting, budgets, accounting, and human resources for all four Bunting Magnetics divisions: Bunting Magnetics Co. (Newton, KS); Bunting’s Magnet Materials Div., including its e-commerce site buymagnets.com (Elk Grove Village, IL); Bunting Magnetics Europe (Berkhamsted, UK); and Magnet Applications Inc. (DuBois, PA).

He will also serve on the company’s executive team and report to president & CEO Bob Bunting, who made the announcement.

“Steven is an accomplished accounting executive with significant financial experience and I’m excited to welcome him to the company,” said Bunting. “He brings the financial background Bunting needs as we continue to advance the growth and profitability of our company. With Steven at the finance helm, I’m confident we’ll be well-positioned to meet our growth goals.”

Most recently, Peiffer was senior manager, assurance services at Allen, Gibbs & Houlik, a leading accounting firm located in Wichita, KS, where he excelled in providing guidance to companies to minimize financial risk and better manage financial resources.
