Trader Joe's Announced Multiple Product Recalls

Company announces four recalls within four days due to potential contamination by rocks and insects.

Trader Joe's announce a recall for potential foreign material (rocks) in Fully Cooked Falafel (SKU# 93935) on July 28. All potentially affected product has been removed from sale and destroyed.

This recall follows two other recent recalls of products sold at Trader Joe's. On July 27, the company recalled its Unexpected Broccoli Cheddar Soup (SKU# 68470) with Use By dates 07/18/23 – 09/15/23 because they may contain insects. No known adverse health effects had been reported, and all potentially affected product was removed from sale and destroyed.

On July 25, Trader Joe's recalled its Almond Windmill Cookies (SKU# 98744) and its Dark Chocolate Chunk and Almond Cookies (SKU# 82752) for potential foreign material (rocks), including the following sell by dates:

  • Almond Windmill Cookies: sell by 10/02/23 and 10/19/23 through 10/21/23

  • Dark Chocolate Chunk and Almond Cookies: sell by 10/17/23 through 10/21/23

All potentially affected product was removed from sale and destroyed.
