Pocket Elbow for Pneumatic Conveying Pipelines

The Dense Flow pocket elbow is designed for use on pneumatic conveying pipelines, and is most effective when highly abrasive materials are being transported. During a pneumatic convey cycle the elbow traps incoming material at the elbows deflection point. The material that is trapped in the "pocket" then acts as a barrier for any remaining material being conveyed, and greatly increases the lifespan of the elbow. The pocket elbow can directly replace any existing pneumatic elbow when combined with Dense Flow pipe stubs. Advantages of the pocket elbow include: increased elbow lifespan; less downtime; lower maintenance costs.
