Cyclonaire Control Panels Earn UL Mark

Designing and manufacturing industrial control panels that are customized for its pneumatic conveying systems and other product lines for over a quarter century, Cyclonaire Corp. can now use the widely recognized UL Mark to certify that its panels meet key industry guidelines.

Underwriters Laboratories sets performance and safety standards for many types of electrical components, including industrial control panels. Thanks to the UL Listing, Cyclonaire can meet requests to supply panels with the UL label affixed and avoid red-tag situations at the job site that can result in delays.

UL’s Industrial Control Panel (ICP) Custom Builders Program covers proper component usage, enclosure environmental ratings, wiring and motor protection, safety markings, and conformance to the National Electric Code (NEC). Underwriters Laboratories Inc. is represented on all of the NEC’s code-making committees, and the UL Mark is widely accepted by regulatory authorities in every jurisdiction in the U.S. and Canada. The listing enables Cyclonaire to bid on projects that specify UL Listed ICPs and still maintain flexibility in designing custom panels.
