Automated Flexible Conveyor introduces an integrated version of its Dump Clean bag break station and Spiralfeeder flexible screw conveyor as a single, portable unit.

Setting the bag break station atop the conveyor infeed hopper, the integrated unit was developed to offer conveying with dust-controlled bag emptying on a compact footprint. The streamlined configuration saves floor space, fits into tight processing lines, and eliminates the ductwork needed to connect the Dump Clean to the screw conveying system in a traditional configuration.

Ideal for foods, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and other materials and ingredients that may generate dust when loaded into a process, the integrated powder transfer equipment features an integrated fan and filter system that continuously draws fine particles inside the unit before they can escape as nuisance dust. As bags are emptied, the powders, pellets, granules, or other bulk material passes neatly into the sealed conveyor infeed hopper for automated transfer to a mixer, reactor, bagger, or container. A dust collection hopper captures fine particles for reuse and designed-in fork pockets promote safe, easy movement from one processing line to another by forklift.

The bulk material handling system is offered in carbon steel as standard, in stainless steel for sanitary processing, and/or with explosion-proof upgrades for managing combustible dusts in hazardous locations. Product testing is offered in the on-site test lab.
