Smico Companies Hires Fergus Keane

Erick Heald, owner of Smico Companies, Smico Screens, Symons Screens, and A & J Mixing Co, one of the largest equipment manufacturers in North America, announces that Fergus Keane has joined the company as vice president of sales and marketing.

In this position, Fergus will work with clients and staff to facilitate the company’s growth opportunities.

Fergus brings 20 years of industry experience to Smico Companies, including seven years with Prater Industries and the previous 13 years in the plastic and bulk powder industries. During the past five years, he was vice president of sales for Prater Industries.

“Fergus’s impressive reputation in sales and marketing makes him an ideal leader for Smico Companies,” said Heald. “His many years of customer interaction in the same industries that Smico Companies serves, positions him to immediately engage with Smico’s sales, distribution, and operating organizations.
