The Continental Mk VIII 62-33/60s rotary drum batch mixer is designed to uniformly blend over 2000 lb of polymer powders in three minutes, and has the flexibility to also blend 200-lb batches. Constructed of stainless steel, the Mk VIII Rollo-Mixer has 33 cu ft of working load volume, and is loaded through a custom-made bag dump station that is fully integrated with a dust collection system. The mixer system resides in a 23-ft-tall room, stands on a 4-ft, 6-in. sub base, and under a 13-ft custom-made platform. It runs at 4.4 rpm, and requires only 7.5 hp. It delivers perfectly uniform blends for consistent, quality extrusions of plastic piping.
