New Mixer Features Extractable Design for Easy Cleaning
October 9, 2019
The Multiflux GMS mixer features an optional, extractable design that enables the complete mixing and drive unit to be quickly removed for full, unobstructed access to the internals for cleaning and inspection.
Developed to ease and speed cleaning in sanitary batch processes, the proprietary extractable cantilevered design (ECD) sets the drive shaft and mixing rotors on rails for smooth, safe extraction from the mixing chamber and 360-degree access to the interior at the press of a button.
Ideal for mixing delicate, high-value ingredients and other materials that require a pristine level of hygiene, the ECD Multiflux GMS mixer is designed to meet FDA and GMP requirements for sanitary processing with stainless steel construction, continuously welded seams, and a choice of surface finishes to prevent contamination. The double-rotor, batch mixing system quickly combines multiple powders and/or liquids into a homogeneous mixture even with challenging quantities below 0.01 percent.
The Multiflux GMS mixer is offered with the ECD in six models ranging in capacity from 36 to 1320 gal. Material testing may be conducted on the mixing system in the company's test center.
