High-Containment Blending Suite

CDM has developed a sophisticated blending system that addresses all aspects of powder blending, granulation, and compaction within a highly contained gravity-fed process.  

The foundation of this system is the flexible blending unit that can accommodate various size and shape bins and vessels. Batches of any formulation or size can be successfully blended, sampled, and discharged from a single blend station. Remote frequency tagging automatically tracks, stores, and analyzes blending parameters to a central data repository. A software system can be developed as required or integrated into an existing network.

The unit is equipped with lab, R&D, and full production manufacturing capabilities. A variety of sensing components allow for blending optimization, equipment monitoring, and trending analysis. Manual operations and recipe-driven automated systems are available.

CDM blending equipment reduces operator exposure, cycle time, and energy consumption. Advantages include adding flexibility, scale up, and data monitoring.
