These automated coating systems are manufactured to accurately deliver powders and liquids onto dry fertilizer blends utilizing Layco Pro Automation technology. The system utilizes automation technology, as well as positive feedback monitoring to accurately meter fertilizer and impregnate liquids and powders as per the required rates. As the industry moves toward a value-added balanced fertilization approach with innovative additives such as urease inhibitors, micronized micronutrient powders, and phosphate enhancement additives, these products need to be applied accurately to either a single fertilizer or to the entire blend. This system will accurately apply both liquids and powders for each required process providing the manufacturers and customers with a tool to accurately apply the products with traditional fertilizer blends.
