Linde US is presenting two new product portfolios at the PowderMet 2018 trade show in San Antonio, TX that are geared to improve powder metal (PM) sintering, Metal Injection Molding (MIM), and additive manufacturing (AM) processes, a company press release announced Monday.

The SINTERFLEX portfolio contains atmosphere control systems (ACS) for PM and AM processes including vacuum sintering and sintering of binder-jetted 3D components. Linde’s ADDvance AM technology suite includes the portable ADDvance carbon dioxide precision atmosphere monitoring system and the ADDvance Cryoclean system that uses carbon dioxide to remove residues from parts of 3D printing equipment.

Dan Enoch, Linde Applications Sales Engineer, Heat Treatment is giving a presentation titled “Total Control of the Powder Metal Sintering Process for Complete Optimization of the Atmosphere and its Thermodynamics” at the trade show this Tuesday.

Linde provides a number of solutions for the ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy industries, including gases and process consulting.
