SpanTech Conveyors to Open New Sales and Service Center

Manufacturer of plastic chain conveyor systems SpanTech LLC plans to hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 8 to mark the opening of a new sales and service center and testing facility in Waukesha, WI, the company announced.

“We want to provide a complete testing facility where our customers can come in and test ideas,” Span Tech’s chief executive officer Bud Layne said in a statement.

A main focus of the new facility will be service training and product testing, providing customers with the ability to test Span Tech conveyors based on their needs.

“Our goal is to improve upon our customer service by inviting current and future partners into the new facility and educate them about all of our conveyor systems, where they are applicable and how to maintain them properly. Ultimately, we want to give them the lowest total cost of ownership possible,” said Dave Byrnes, service sales and operations manager who oversees the day-to-day operations of the new center, in a company blog post.

The company serves customers in a range of industries including agriculture, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics. Span Tech’s headquarters is also located in Waukesha.
