Monthly Conveying Equipment Orders Soar 35%

The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reports that its February 2018 booked orders increased 35.7% when compared to February 2017 orders.

When compared to January 2018, February 2018 booked orders were down 4.6%.

February booked orders were down 1.6% for Bulk Handling Equipment and down 6.0% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to January.

CEMA’s February 2018 billed sales (shipments) increased by 26.7% when compared to February 2017 sales.

February 2018 billed sales when compared to January 2018 billed sales were up 4.4%.

February billed sales were down 0.4% for Bulk Handling Equipment and up 6.5% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to January.
