Hapman 3D Configurator Now Includes More Conveyors
August 6, 2015
Hapman, an industry leader in conveyors and bulk material handling equipment for 70 years, announces the expansion of its 3D configurator to include its full line of vacuum conveyors and Helix flexible screw conveyors, in addition to the bulk bag unloader launched in 2014.
Hapman’s free 3D configurator streamlines the process of design and selection of industrial equipment by giving users the ability to select equipment options and generate a 3D preview in real-time.
“The 3D modeling tool has enhanced how we provide technical support to our customer during the equipment selection and purchasing process,” said Greg Patterson, Hapman vice president. “Our goal is to create the best possible experience for our customers. We continue to look for ways to improve how industrial bulk handling equipment purchases are made.”
Hapman works with operators, purchasing personnel, plan engineers, and third-party design engineers to properly size and select equipment. The design tool allows users to create their own equipment by selecting options based on their application needs. The equipment preview can then be downloaded into a 2D or 3D version of their configured equipment. Users can download their tailored equipment options in any one of 150 2D and 3D software versions, giving users the planning flexibility of the actual file drawing to place into a process flow diagram (PFD).
To use the 3D configurator tool visit hapman.com, select the Bulk Bag Unloader, the Vacuum Conveyor, or the Flexible Screw Conveyor from the top equipment menu listing. Select the “3D Configurator” button on the right side navigation menu.
