Guardian Grease Purged Seal

The Guardian grease purged seal offers a low profile and easy retrofit, replacing most waste pack and air purge seals with zero interchangeability problems allowing the use of standard 4-bolt flange bearings. Features include: effective up to 215ºF and 15 psi (higher for short durations); HT version effective up to 400ºF with Viton elastomers; split version replaces existing seals without costly removal of bearings and drive components; effective in high "run-out" situations; custom designs available to work with petroleum-based, synthetic, or food-grade grease; successful in difficult applications: hexane, high head loads of sugar, cooled fly ash, etc., typically last more than a year with only lubrication required.
