Carrier vibrating conveyor
Conveying material via an incline brings a unique set of challenges. Carrier Vibrating engineers solved these for a customer who needed a vibrating conveyor.
The vibrating conveyor needed to be at a 12° incline, which was difficult to achieve with the fine material being conveyed. A V-shaped trough was designed with replaceable serrated liners to assist with conveying up the steep incline. An open dump trough was included at the horizontal beginning of the conveyor, with the rest of the vibrating conveyor inclined and covered.
The entire piece of equipment is designed to operate at a resonant frequency, reducing power requirements and stress on the machine. The system sits on coil springs and rocker arm stabilizers to keep the vibrations at the correct angle for conveying up the incline.
