Conveying Equipment Orders Soar in November

The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its November 2016 booked orders increased 32.8% when compared to November 2015 orders.

When compared to October 2016, November 2016 booked orders were up 18.9%.

November booked orders were down 5.5% for Bulk Handling Equipment and up 29.9% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to October.

CEMA’s November 2016 billed sales (shipments) increased by 2.5% when compared to November 2015 sales.

When compared to October 2016, November 2016 billed sales were down 3%.
 
November billed sales were down 11.0% for Bulk Handling Equipment and up 0.4% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to October.
