Conveying Equipment Orders Soar 235%

The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reports that its December 2019 booked orders increased 135% when compared to December 2018 orders and 234.8% when compared to November 2019.

December booked orders were up 1.02% for Bulk Handling Equipment and up 333.8% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to November.

CEMA’s December 2019 billed sales (shipments) increased by 3.4% when compared to December 2018 sales and 30.2% when compared to November billed sales were up 30.2%.

December billed sales were up 14.9% for Bulk Handling Equipment and up 34.4% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to November.
