Conveying Equipment Orders Rise in July

The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its July 2019 booked orders were up 4.9% over June orders.
July 2019 booked orders decreased 24.3% when compared to July 2018 orders.
July booked orders were up 8.7% for Bulk Handling Equipment and up 2.9% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to June.
CEMA’s July 2019 billed sales (shipments) decreased by 1.2% when compared to July 2018 sales.
July 2019 billed sales when compared to June billed sales were up 8%.
July billed sales were down 1.6% for Bulk Handling Equipment and up 11.6% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to June.
