CEMA July Booked Orders up 44.8% over 2011

The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its July 2012 booked orders increased 44.8% when compared to July 2011 orders. When compared to June 2012, booked orders were down 7.6%.

July booked orders were up 1.7% for Bulk Handling Equipment and down 14.9% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to June.

CEMA’s July 2012 billed sales (shipments) increased by 25.5% when compared to July 2011 sales. When compared to June 2012, billed sales were down 9.1%.

July Billed Sales were down 12.3% for Bulk Handling Equipment and down 6.5% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to June.
