Miranda Automation North America LLC Opens New Headquarters

Miranda Automation North America (MANA) LLC recently opened its new headquarters in the Houston, Texas area. MANA specializes in the design, engineering, manufacturing, installation, and support of automated processing and bulk material-handling systems with primary emphasis on bakery, snack foods, and confectionary products and applications.

Utilizing proven industry and engineering practices, MANA designs turn-key system solutions. Complete system automation assures consistent and cost-effective high-quality output while reducing the potential for waste and operator error, and insuring maximum productivity without compromise to product quality, sanitation, or operator safety.

MANA’s modular system designs provide "staged" implementation for system improvements and modernization which include: dosing systems for process ingredients, handling systems for flour, sugar, fat, lecithin, HVO, palmoline, and butter, as well as bulk- and liquid-handling systems, accurate and reliable weighing and scaling, continuous mixing, and cost-effective minor and micro ingredient-handling subsystems. Systems are designed to be operator friendly, easy to maintain, and emphasize personnel safety and in-process product security.

MANA-designed control systems use PLC and SCADA units, allowing necessary data to be acquired and available for SQL, ERP, or DCS requirements. The company provides efficient design and development of specific system needs, standard and customized systems and equipment, stringent quality checks, innovative production techniques, and practical on-line, in-plant "hands-on" testing.
