Key Technology announces the appointment of Prime International as its exclusive sales representative in Argentina. Prime is responsible for developing sales and providing service for Key’s automated inspection and sorting systems, specialized conveying, and processing equipment to customers in Argentina that produce food products such as fresh and processed fruits and vegetables, potatoes, nuts, snacks, and meats, as well as industrial products such as chemicals, plastics, and paper.

“With their industry expertise, technical knowledge, comprehensive customer service, and company contacts, Prime is ideally suited to help Key expand its presence in Argentina,” said Teri Johnson, Intercon regional sales director at Key. “Prime represents several world-class equipment companies that complement Key’s product line, so customers have a range of solutions available from one source. We’re confident that Prime will deliver added value to our customers and be a strong addition to our sales team.”

Prime International has 30 years of experience selling and servicing processing and packaging equipment to companies manufacturing food and non-food products. Led by industry veterans Ivan Petracchi and Juan Pablo Moledous, the group has deep technical and application knowledge and an extraordinary commitment to providing superior customer support.

“Key Technology is a global market leader known for its innovative equipment and quality engineering. We are excited to represent them and offer their solutions to our customers,” said Ivan Petracchi, managing director at Prime International. “With processors in Argentina focused on producing higher quality products and reducing operating costs, we believe there is an enormous opportunity for Key here.”
