Hoover Container Solutions Promotes Arash Hassanian to Vice President of International Sales

Since taking over as director of international sales in 2008, Arash Hassanian has seen Hoover’s international sales and operations grow from one facility in Melbourne, Australia to six locations in Australia, Brazil, Malaysia, Norway, and the United Arab Emirates. In recognition of this international growth, Hoover Container Solutions has promoted Arash Hassanian to vice president of international sales. Hassanian will be responsible for the company’s international sales, marketing, and business development.

“As Hoover continues to grow internationally to better serve the needs of our customers, we needed somebody with strong leadership skills and experience in these markets,” Young said. “In addition to the depth and breadth of his experience, Arash has proven he can execute. I’ve known Arash since I joined Hoover, and I am proud to have Arash join Hoover’s management team”.

Hassanian is responsible for managing all international pricing and revenue management functions. Prior to his promotion, Hassanian served as director of international business development, a position he had held since June 2008. Hassanian has held various positions such as purchasing manager and director of procurement since joining Hoover in 2006. He has an Executive MBA from Shiraz Industrial Management Institute and a Petroleum Engineering degree from Azad University of Omidyeh.
