Coperion GmbH Announces Executive Board Changes

Effective immediately, Coperion GmbH, headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany, has streamlined its executive board. Wolfgang Pöschl, member of the executive board and head of the Competence Center Compounding & Extrusion, has left the company after many years to pursue new challenges. His responsibilities will be reorganized within the new business distribution plan.

In addition to his existing responsibilities as head of the Competence Center
Materials Handling, Axel Kiefer will also be in charge of Coperion’s business with large high-performance compounding systems for the polyolefin industry. 

Thomas Kehl will continue to be responsible for the Competence Center Service. In addition, he will be in charge of business with small- to medium-size high-performance compounding and extrusion machines for the plastics, food, and pharmaceutical industries as well as for special applications.

Günter Bachmann, chairman of the executive board, will continue to be responsible for the Corporate Shared Services with its various central functions, such as human resources, controlling & finance, and IT.
 
The streamlined organization reflected in the new business distribution plan represents Coperion’s adaption to the changing market conditions.
