Bedeschi S.p.A., an Italian solutions provider for bulk handling and mining, container logistics, and bricks, has announced plans to open an excellence centre for materials handling in Germany. The company said that the centre enriches its already strong engineering backbone in Italy and will focus on the fields of port handling, stockyard equipment, and wagon unloading.

Together with its recently established Australian branch in February, Bedeschi keeps strengthening its know-how in engineering, sales and after sales, proving an even greater position in the global material handling industry.

Dr. Reza Poorvash will act as the CEO of the new subsidiary based in Saarbrücken, Germany.

Bedeschi Australia is located in Perth with satellite offices in Port Hedland and Brisbane. Bedeschi Australia Pty. Ltd. serves its customers in the Mining, Port and Agricultural Industries with an experienced and well-known team in the market.

Mr. Uwe Zulehner will act as the CEO of the new subsidiary and is based in Perth.

In more news this year, Bedeschi announced in January that it will supply to a shipyard in Indonesia a new floating terminal with 2500 tph capacity of coal from two loaded barges to a big OGV up to Cape Size. The new floating terminal is planned to operate in the Far East.
