APAC Automated Material Handling Market to Hit $14B by 2021

The Asia Pacific (APAC) region is expected to lead growth in automated material handling equipment markets through 2021 when the area’s market value is expected to reach $14.3 billion, a new study by market research firm Knowledge Sourcing Intelligence said.

The market is projected to grow by a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.47% from its value of $7.6 billion in 2015 to 2021. China and Japan are expected to lead demand for the equipment during the forecast period as they contain the region’s major manufacturing centers. The report also notes that growing e-commerce, logistics, and infrastructure building activities in India will fuel substantial growth there as well.

The BEUMER Group, Diafuku Co Ltd, Konecranes, Mecalux SA, and Murata Machinery are a few of the companies that the report’s authors project to lead the market.
