Process equipment manufacturer Readco Kurimoto LLC, York, PA, recently celebrated the grand opening of its new facility in York with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, guided tours, and a presentation chronicling the company's rise from its 1906 founding to its present-day mission helping manufacturers improve operations with continuous processing.

Hosts Hajime Agata, chairman, Doug Dodson, president, and David Sieglitz, executive mentor, welcomed York County President Commissioner Julie Wheeler, York County Vice President Commissioner Doug Hoke, Katie Mahoney, chief marketing and business development officer at York County Economic Alliance & Downtown, and other officials, staff, vendors, and associates who contributed to the relocation effort.

Launching the next phase in the company's strategic growth strategy, the event marks the culmination of a multi-year process aimed at expanding in-house capabilities and production capacity to match current and projected demand for its line of continuous process equipment. The new North American headquarters features 67,000 sq ft of space with two laboratories for process development testing in sanitary and/or hazardous environments, a 60-seat training and education center, machining and assembly operations, warehousing, and engineering and sales offices. The building nearly doubles the square footage of its previous facility, which served as the company's headquarters for 20 years.

Readco Kurimoto LLC is a subsidiary of Kurimoto Group, Osaka, Japan. Readco custom engineers process equipment used for automating production in the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, nutrition, and other industries.
