SPEC Engineering will be celebrating the grand opening of its 8000-sq-ft Assembly and Innovation Center with pneumatic conveying and material testing sessions on Thursday, July 23, at its facility in Plainfield, IL.

The SPEC lab will present a material flow analysis demonstration that will feature pneumatic conveying testing and a complete physical material evaluation, that will include:

•    Angle of repose
•    Angle of slide
•    Particle size analysis
•    Moisture analysis
•    Particle characterization analysis

A picnic lunch and refreshments will be served from 11am to 12pm, with the technical session running from 12-2pm. The Pneumatic Conveying Demonstration will run from 12-12:45 pm, with the Particle Size Analysis Demonstration taking place from 1-1:45pm in the company’s new lab.
