Vision Analytical Inc. releases a new version of the Particle Insight smartphone app for iPhone and iPad. Particle size is an important parameter for the monitoring of raw materials in many industries. Particle shape using Dynamic Image Analysis is also becoming a popular technique offering more information and images of particles for research and quality control use. This app enables immediate remote access for all size and shape information. As particle size and shape information, as well as particle thumbnails, are created for raw material samples using the Particle Insight lab-based analyzer, information is automatically uploaded to a secure cloud and made accessible remotely using this app. Users can obtain particle size and count, as well as images, on their smartphones and tablets that can be further analyzed, making this iPhone and iPad app a true analysis tool.
