Level Switches for Chemical, Food Challenges
Dynatrol CL-10 G Series level detectors

The Dynatrol CL-10 G Series level detectors operate with accurate and consistent results on problem applications that have a tendency to bridge and “pack-out.” They handle precipitated and fine, light-weight chemical powders with a bulk density as low as 1 lb/cu ft. They easily manage food industry products such as milling applications 12X to silk sugar, plus a variety of heavier bulk solids in the density range of 10-15 lb/cu ft.

Dynatrol level detectors perform in dusty environments and specialized units can be used in temperatures exceeding 300°F. All level detectors are calibrated at the factory, do not require any field calibration before installation, and are approved for Class I, Group D, Class II, Groups E, F, & G; and Class III services.

These durable level detectors are constructed for long operating life.  They contain no moving parts, gaskets, or seals and rely on mechanical oscillations to determine if the probe is covered or uncovered. Signals from the detector operate a single pole double throw relay within the control unit and the relay contacts can be used to actuate alarms, indicator lights, or process control equipment.

Installation is simple. The level switch is mounted through a ¾-in. half-coupling at the point of desired level detection on hoppers, silos, or bins.
