Flow/No Flow Detection Sensor
BinMaster's new Flow Detect 2000

The new Flow Detect 2000 prevents cross contamination by ensuring flow has stopped before introducing a new material into the flow stream. This compact, single-piece sensor detects flow or no flow conditions down to a trickle of flow. It installs at transition points in: distributors; gravity chutes, feeders, or spouts; bucket elevators; mechanical or pneumatic conveyors; ducts or pipelines.

The Flow Detect 2000 detects solids, granules, pellets, meals, and powders, and is suitable for feed, grain, milling, or ethanol operations.

It prevents downtime and equipment failure caused by blockages, conveyors running empty, no material flowing to-and-from a process, or loose slide gates.

This microwave-based sensor is packed in a NEMA 4X enclosure that houses the power and output connections, and user adjustable controls. Installation is simple, via a 1-/14-ft NPT opening.

It provides a SPDT relay output to alert to flow or no flow status.
