Crews were called to the Graymont facility in Pleasant Gap, PA Wednesday morning to douse the flames.

Fire crews were dispatched to the Graymont lime processing plant in Pleasant Gap, PA Wednesday morning after flames ignited in a piece of equipment at the site, the Centre Daily Times reported.

Pleasant Gap Fire Company Chief Lou Brugard told the newspaper that the blaze started at the Graymont Road location at about 6:45 a.m. in equipment that is about four or five stories tall.

The equipment and the plant’s roof received moderate damages, according to the Daily Times. No injuries were logged during the incident and the fire was brought under control in about an hour.

A fire broke out at another Graymont facility in late May. Firefighters worked for two hours to douse an equipment-related fire at the firm’s facility in Superior, WI. Graymont told local media that its equipment was not significantly damaged during the blaze. No injuries occurred in that incident.
