On Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 2 p.m. Eastern/11 a.m. Pacific, Joe Marinelli, senior consultant, Solids Handling Technologies Inc., and Scott Miller, consultant, Solids Handling Technologies Inc., will present “Understanding When Feeder Problems Arise from Inadequate Bin Design” as part of Powder & Bulk Solids' DryPro webinar series.

This webinar will talk about problems with a feeding device that result from how the material is handled in the associated bin and the relationship between the device controlling discharge and the vessel from where the material is supplied.

Often a feeding device is evaluated independent of the feed bin supplying material. When a problem arises, a deficiency in the feeding device is assumed. Yet in many cases, these issues may result from what is taking place with the material in the bin above. This webinar addresses some of the more frequent feeder issues that often result from the storage of material in the feeder's associated storage vessel.
