A worker at the Tyson Foods plant in Alexandria, KY, was injured and flown to the hospital, local news reports.

Alexandria is southeast of Cincinnati, OH by only 25 minutes or so.

The worker was hurt by a piece of machinery at the northern Kentucky plant this morning, according to officials.

The person was not trapped by machinery, however.

The plant is located in a remote area, according to reports.

There is limited information at this point but OSHA will be investigating, sources say.

No comments from the plant have been announced.
