Bellmawr, NJ-based Seviroli Foods Inc. issued a voluntary recall this week for a lot of H-E-B Jumbo Stuffed Shells in 22 oz packaging after the company determined that the products are possibly contaminated with metal pieces.

The food manufacturer was alerted to the issue on September 9 after receiving notification of complaints from four customers, according to a company announcement posted to the US Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) website Tuesday.

Seviroli’s recall of the prepared pasta dish involves one lot that was distributed to H-E-B stores in Texas. The company said the retailer has removed the impacted products from its shelves.

Customers in possession of the recalled products are urged to throw them away or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
