Joint Food Processing Seminar Announced

The K-Tron Process Group, in collaboration with key suppliers of equipment and instrumentation to the food processing industry including Fitzpatrick, Premier Pneumatics, Eriez, and Coperion Werner and Pfleiderer, has announced the presentation of a joint food seminar, “Innovations in Food Processing”, to be held on December 4 in Rosemont, Illinois and December 6 in Bloomington, Minnesota.
The free one-day event will include detailed process and analytical information about key topics and trends in the food processing industry. The seminar examines a wide variety of important processing issues, offering an objective, technical overview of these processes and introduces processors to methods of both improving current processes and utilizing new technologies.
Topics to be presented include “Right Sizing Your Ingredients,” “How to Choose the Proper Feeder Technology for your Mixing, Extrusion, or Size-Reduction Process,” “Pneumatic Conveying Applications in the Food Industry: Options in Design and Technology,” “Contaminant Removal Technologies,” and “Continuous Processing via Twin Screw Extrusion.”
