Pet food maker Hill’s Pet Nutrition is preparing to install a new packaging line at its Bowling Green, KY facility. The addition of the new asset is part of the company’s plan to invest $15 million in the plant over a three-year period.

“As a long-time member of the Bowling Green community, we are proud of our continued growth and our ability to add more jobs in the area, with a focus on attracting diverse candidates,” plant manager Steve Nelson said in a recent release announcing the project. “Working at Hill’s is much more than a job. Our diets help transform the health of pets and enrich that special relationship with their families.”

Hill’s Pet Nutrition has had a presence in Bowling Green for more than three decades. The expansion is expected to have an economic impact of $20 million over the next ten years. 25 new jobs will be created with the addition of the new packaging line.
