American chocolate and snacks maker Hershey Co. is injecting $90 million into its Nuevo Leon, Mexico plant to boost its production capacity by 25%.

The funds will be used to add two new production lines, Reuters reported. About 300 new jobs will be created as a result of the investment.

311 products are manufactured at the Nuevo Leon location and sold in North American markets, according to MexicoIndustry.com. 14 molding and packaging lines are currently in place at the facility.

A local official told MexicoNow that the plant could become the second largest in Hershey’s global network when the project is completed.
