Firefighters were sent to the Saputo Cheese production plant in Alto, WI Tuesday after a blaze ignited on the roof of the facility, local news organizations reported.

Several contractors were working on the plant’s roof when the fire started, SeehaferNews.com said. They used about 20 fire extinguishers to douse the flames.

Crews responded to the site at about 9:15 a.m. and worked to remove several layers of roofing material to access hot spots, according to coverage by Fox News affiliate WLUK.

Reports did not include information on the amount of damages or whether injuries occurred.
