371 Tyson Foods Workers Test Positive for COVID-19

371 employees at the Tyson Foods chicken processing plant in Missouri tested positive for COVID-19, the company announced Friday.

Tyson tested 1,142 employees from June 17-19, and 291 were positive for COVID-19; 249 of those (85%) were asymptomatic. An additional 80 employees tested positive after being tested by their healthcare providers.

Tyson has had previous outbreaks at plants in North Carolina and Tennessee.
